REFINAMENTO DA ESTRUTURA CRISTALINA DA FLORENCITA PELO MÉTODO DOS MÍNIMOS QUADRADOS UTILIZANDO AMOSTRAS POLICRISTALINAS

Resumo


The crystal structure of florencite, CeAl3(P04)2(OH)6, was refined by least squares using experimental data obtained by the Debye-Scherrer method. An automatic optícal microdensitometer was used for the measurement of the integrated intensities of 14 observed difraction peaks. Some of these peaks are formed by the superposition of several reflections and their contributions were taken into account using the appropriate multiplicity factors. The initial positional parameters of florencite were taken to the atomic parameters of goyazite, which ís isomorphous with florencite. Final R = 10,0%.
